"Sua Sponte" — adapted in spirit, not affiliation.

We find the enemy before the enemy finds us.

See first. Strike first. Disappear.

The Regiment fights the battle. RRC decides where it happens.

The RRC is a reconnaissance-focused MilSim unit built around small, disciplined recon elements that gather intelligence, remain undetected, and report with precision. This portal is the operator's front door: unit information, student training material, and cadre resources, all in one place.

Who We Are

Small Elements. Big Intelligence.

RRC operates on a simple premise: you don't need to win the firefight if the enemy never knows you were there. Every operator trains to see, record, and report before anything else — intelligence is the primary weapon, not the rifle.

// 01

Doctrine-Based

Structure, roles, and reporting formats are adapted from real-world reconnaissance doctrine — SALUTE reports, GOTWA, PIRs, and standard OP procedure — translated into game mechanics without losing the substance.

// 02

Selection & Pipeline

Membership isn't automatic. Candidates pass a graded Selection & Assessment Program, then move through a six-block Training Pipeline before they're trusted to fill a slot on a live element.

// 03

Every Role Matters

A recon element is built on seven interlocking positions. No role is filler — losing any one of them degrades the whole element in a specific, trainable-around way.

Utilization

How We're Employed

RRC isn't a standing front-line unit — we're a supporting asset, requested when our specific capabilities are needed.

// 01

Request-Based Asset

RRC operates as a specialized reconnaissance and support element that allied units can request when our capabilities are needed for their operation.

// 02

Integrated Support

When we support an allied operation, our goal is to integrate with their forces, provide valuable reconnaissance and information, and get assigned tasks done effectively, smoothly, and with minimal friendly casualties.

// 03

Built to Last

This is MilSim, and sustainability matters. We take operations seriously, but real life comes first. Operational cycles ensure members get adequate downtime — no one is expected to turn out for every RFI or op that comes in.

Element Structure

The Seven Positions

Every standard RRC element is built around these roles. Detailed breakdowns, tips, and battlefield impact for each live in the Recon Training Guide, available to instructors and, in study form, to students.

PositionSecondary RolePrimary FunctionPriority
Squad Leader Element Commander Plans, leads, and makes all command decisions for the element Critical
Sniper Navigator Long-range precision fire and route/terrain navigation Critical
Spotter Point Man / Scout Forward scout, lead movement, close-range observation Critical
Drone Operator Assistant Scout Aerial ISR, route recon, threat detection High
Demo Asst. Scout / Security Demolitions, obstacle clearing, element security High
Medic Casualty Care Medical treatment, casualty management, MEDEVAC coordination Critical
JTAC Attachment (when assigned) Close air support coordination, fire mission control High (when present)
Core Doctrine

The Tactical Triangle

Speed, Surprise, and Violence of Action — the non-negotiable mindset for overwhelming a position when contact becomes unavoidable. Each element amplifies the other two.

I

Speed

Compress the enemy's decision time to nothing. Move before they've finished deciding what to do.

II

Surprise

Act in a way the enemy does not expect, overloading their ability to react in time.

III

Violence of Action

Deliver overwhelming, decisive force the instant it's needed — and dominate the space.

Training

The Training Portal

Study material, cadre resources, and the tactical map tool live in a dedicated portal. Students can work the reference library and map trainer; instructors get the pipeline, selection rubrics, and showcase scripts behind a cadre login.
